A little about what I cover..

Rhythm is an important part of everyday life. Learning the drums can be a rewarding experience musically, as well as a therapeutic pursuit. Here is your chance to study with an experienced teacher/drummer in a relaxed and fun environment!

Each lesson is geared for the specific needs of a student, and their personal musical pursuits. Here's a general overview what I will cover:

-Building skills pertaining to Groove, technique, coordination, reading, theory, creativity, dynamics, and musicality. -Any age and experience level is welcome. -I teach and enjoy all styles of music.

A little about myself:
- I currently play in numerous bands, and have been involved in playing music in about every situation possible.  I have toured in Europe, Asia, and across the United States is diverse musical scenarios.
-I have extensively studied regional music from Africa, South America, Asia, India, Eastern and Western Europe, and many eras of American music.
- I am a graduate from the New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music, with a degree in performance.
- I also play guitar and keyboards, so in lessons I put things in the context of broader musical scenarios.
